Survey and Quantitative Research Methods. Techniques of collecting and analyzing quantitative data from social surveys. Attention to research design, questionnaire construction, sampling, coding and statistical analysis. Presentation of survey data in tables and graphs, use of descriptive and inferential statistics. Includes speaking intensive and presentation requirements. Satisfies Area 5 of the Breadth of Study Requirements. Prerequisite: SOC 051; Letter grade only.
