Introduction to Geology: Geohazards. Environmental response to natural and anthropogenic forces may result in various geologic hazards, including earthquakes, volcanic activity, landslides, coastal erosion, floods and groundwater pollution. This course includes an introduction to basic geological concepts, with a focus on current hazardous regions, historical events, impact on humans and forecasting abilities. Field trips.
