PGWS - Gender & Women's Studies Major

1. Ascertain how gender functions in the world;

2. Understand how the experiential refutes and complicates theoretical claims;

3. Engage gender theory, and understand how such analytical frameworks have been generated;

4. Generate new knowledge through research, and perform critical analysis of that knowledge;

5. Recognize how knowledge about gender is produced, including the lived experience of gender (bodily knowledge);

6. Situate primary research within a critical framework.
